Shahid Kapoor sure has reason to celebrate.

And that's why.. Shahid, who rarely sticks around at parties, was seen having a ball of a time till wee hours at a bash thrown by producer Ramesh Taurani.

Taurani threw an impromptu informal get together at his home recently. It was the producer's way of thanking the cast and crew of Kismat Konnection for giving their best for the film that had opened to full houses in all multiplexes and theatres.

The party was on in full swing when Ahmed Khan, to add some more josh to the bash, told the DJ to play the Kismat Konnection songs.

And the crowd just went berserk when the DJ played the hit Aye paapi number. It was here that the unit members attempted to pull Shahid on to the dance floor but the shy Shahid refused.

Ahmed Khan intervened and dragged Shahid who finally relented. Ahmed danced with Shahid initially. But as Shahid began getting more and more engrossed in the Justin Timberlake dance steps, Ahmed quietly walked out leaving Shahid to himself.

And boy! Shahid was so absorbed that he did not even notice Ahmed's absence and had the entire audience in attention.

Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed that Shahid did dance to Aye paapi at the informal do held at his place. "Shahid is not a party person. He comes like a breeze and whisks away like breeze. But at this bash he was the there till the very end. Shahid enjoyed dancing to the Aye paapi number."

With lady luck showering her affection, Shahid is enjoying every bit of his success. After all he is the only actor to have had three back-to-back hits viz, Vivah, Jab We Met and now Kismat Konnection. Shahid ki to kismet khul gayi yaar! What say!
